Bringing it all together; the final answer
Hopefully you will read this after you have read the other things on this site. I have to tell you, that this page is from an inspiration, I personally believe came from above. I have read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and in between and although I have read many times the two sections of the Bible that this page is mainly about, for some reason I didn't originally put it on this site, but it absolutely makes sense to do so as it is part of the main reason for the site; Answers and Questions.
If you have read through godisareality.com and in the Questions and Answers that people like yourself have submitted, and in my personal biblical studies section, you may still have the questions, of how does it all fit together? What was God's main purpose for us all? Did life turn out the original way God had intended from the beginning with Adam and Eve? Hence this page. My beliefs of an answer to “bringing it all together”.
The Bible may appear to be a collection books, scribed notes and dreams about all aspects of life and it is all of that but more importantly, it is a testimony of what life was like and prophecies of things to come. However, I believe there are those, like myself, that have or still ask, what was the original intent? What did God plan to create, and what was his hope for mankind? Is there a beginning and end to this wonderful book of books? Is there a 'tie' from the start to the end of this story? Yes, I believe there is. I have come to believe it comes in two parts. First, there is something identified in the book of Genesis. Something God had intended for man to have. This same thing appears in the book of Revelation. This thing ties both books to give a completion to;
“in the beginning...”(Genesis 1:1)
“.....Surely, I am coming quickly” (Revelation 22:20)
This answer starts in the book of Genesis where it is talking about what Adam and Eve did; Eat the forbidden fruit of the “tree of knowledge of good and evil”. But did you know there was another tree there also that they COULD eat from? This same chapter describes it as the “Tree of Life”. In this chapter, after Eve had eaten from the forbidden tree and convinced Adam to also eat from it, God replied;
“Then the Lord God said, behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now lest he put out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever “ Gen. 3:22
It appears, God's original intent was for man to live forever, but given the test of obedience, free will, they chose not to obey God. Hence, God drove man out of the Garden of Eden. But before He did, God said to Adam;
........Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread. Till you return to the ground. For out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” Gen. 3: 17-19
The Bible then tells us about life, sin, rebellion, repentance, God's purpose and commands. His promise of salvation through Jesus, as the savior, with all of His teachings. In the last and final book of this wondrous book of books, the Bible, The book of Revelation talks about God's restoration of His temple, His saving of His people that believe in Jesus, the prophecy of the end times and the tribulation and judgment to come. Then the tie which brings His word, the entire Bible, together from Genesis to Revelation with Jesus' divine words of promise when once again it mentions, the "Tree of Life".
“In the middle of the street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruits every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there; They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever”. Rev. 22:2-5
Hence, from “the beginning” the tree of Life was there for man, then through sin, we go through several thousand years of this 'life' and finally, Jesus, our Lord God and savior tells us of the 'tree of life', the original intent is there for us. God's Will, be done. AMEN!
Realize....GOD IS A REALITY!
