Realizing that everything in the world that has and is going wrong, what is God’s will for us? How does he show it and himself to us?
These are excellent questions you have asked, and I have to say, I agree with you about things in world that have and are going wrong. This is because Satan surely has temporary control. Take a look at the trash that is on TV for example. More and more of the warped moral worldview is being shown in tv shows and movies so they will eventually become accepted as the norm.
These questions are ones that I'm sure philosophers would love to respond to with volumes of ‘flowery words'. I read them all the time. I hear their responses about God’s reality and His will more than I care to. Their answers to these questions go on what I call ‘philosophical journeys’. In my opinion there lies the problem. We try to over analyze and twist God's existence, His reality and what His will for us is into things we cannot comprehend;
For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?......." 1 Cor. 2:14
However, what we CAN know about Him and Hs will is what He tells us in His word. First realizing who God really is by what He shows us in His creation. Take a look, a long look at a beautiful sunset (my favorite) or the beautiful landscape in the mountains or the ocean. This is God’s REALITY. Also, in regards to His will for us, is that God wants us to understand that He is the LOVE, the PEACE, the JOY we need to have within us and to show towards others.
Yes, I absolutely agree with you 100% that things in this world have and are going wrong. For example, we have allowed our beliefs within religion to try and define God's reality and will for us and that it should be understood this way or that way. We just don't seem to get the fact that we are to simply understand that He is our creator, our friend in need and that He sent His son as our Savior. His will is for us to repent of our sins and glorify Him in the true worship He deserves. Yet, for some of us, we refuse to believe this.
The Apostle Paul put it plainly. We all, whether we want to admit it or not know who God is and the reality of His existence. He has made His existence plain and clear, but some in this world refuse to accept a creator. Refuse to honor God as He should be honored. Simply because His existence and His laws are an inconvenience to us in our lives;
"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened." Rom. 1:20-21
So when these questions arise we should hold onto our faith. Ask God to strengthen it and our knowledge of Him. Tell Him you want a closer relationship with Him. Tell Him you don't understand. Although He already knows these things about you, He wants us to come to Him in prayer. Don't try to over analyze His existence. Realizing that He is simply about the Love, the peace, the Joy as mention earlier that we have in this life. Things that Jesus stressed are all that we should be concerned about. Then finally, remember, as the psalmist put it;
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Ps 46:10
